General Information

All citations are payable to IU Parking Operations within ten (10) business days of the issue date. Checks and money orders should be payable to Indiana University. The citation envelope may be reused for mailing your payment, and sent through either campus mail or the US Postal Service.

Methods of Payment

Please use the link above to make an online payment. Citations may be paid online using your American Express, DiscoverCard, MasterCard, or Visa credit card.

Please bring the citation to the Parking Operations office at 310 S. Fess Ave. (in the lower level of the Henderson Parking Garage). Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Cash, checks, and money orders are accepted, along with Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

Citations not paid within ten (10) business days will automatically be forwarded to the Bursar for collection.

If you are an employee of Indiana University, your parking fines may be paid by payroll deduction. For more information, contact Parking Operations by phone at (812) 855-9848 or by email: parking @ indiana.edu.

Parking Violations Responsibility

• If a vehicle is registered with IU Parking Operations, fines and sanctions will be assessed against the individual in whose name the vehicle is registered.
• If a vehicle is not registered with IU Parking Operations and the operator (at the time of the violation) is associated with the university, fines and sanctions will be assessed against the Operator.
• If a vehicle is not registered with IU Parking Operations and the operator is not (at the time of the violation) associated with the university, fines will be assessed against the vehicle's owner as listed in the state vehicle registration records.
