Campus Bus
The Campus Bus Service provides basic transportation on campus for the Indiana University community and Bloomington residents. The system operates as a fixed-route, scheduled service which is based on class times.
Campus Bus Service is a fare free system. No fares are charged or collected from any passenger. Campus Bus Service provides no transfers to other public transportation systems. Additionally, the Campus Bus fleet is fully ADA-accessible. All buses are equipped with a kneeling feature and a wheelchair ramp.

Bloomington Transit
Bloomington Transit provides transportation around the city and to the IU Bloomington campus. Convenient service is available to and from campus for most apartment complexes and residence halls.
Just present your IU University ID card (IU students) or your IU Bus Pass (IU employees) and ride for free! IU employees can obtain a bus pass at Campus Card Services counters on the Mezzanine Level in the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) building or on the Ground Floor in Eigenmann Hall. All bus passes are issued over the counter. Hours of operation for the IMU counter are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and the Eigenmann service counter is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Rural Transit
A service of the Area 10 Agency on Aging, Rural Transit offers various transportation services. Express Services offer you opportunities to travel among Spencer, Ellettsville, and Bloomington Monday through Friday. County Routes offer round-trip service between specific points in the counties one to five times weekly. County Sweeps offer service throughout each county Monday through Friday. Please call 24 hours or more in advance of your trip on weekdays if possible. Same day service provided if time is available.
